McCormack Ranch Sheepdog Trial
The Popular McCormack Ranch Sheepdog Trial is back!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 4th and Sunday, April 5th, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Location: McCormack Ranch, Montezuma Hills Road, west of Rio Vista. Enjoy the stunning backdrop of the Sacramento River and Mount Diablo.
Event Highlights:
- Competitors: Over 50 dogs and their handlers from several western states will compete for a spot in the United States Border Collie Handlers Association Sheepdog Finals in Arturas, CA (September 29th – October 4th).
- Admission: $30 for adults and children 13+, $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available at the RioVision Gallery (116 Main St., Rio Vista), Pets 4 All (187 Main St., Rio Vista) F&M Bank (101 Main St. Rio Vista) or online at Eventbrite. Note: Tickets are limited to 400 per day and are non-refundable.
- Activities: Take a hayride from the parking lot to the event.
- What to Bring: Your appetite, a blanket, folding chairs, and binoculars. Remember, this is an alcohol-free event.
- Pet Policy: Only participating dogs and service dogs are allowed.
The event will be held rain or shine, so come prepared for a great time!
